Number of responses: 11 out of 40 IOC member states (27.5%); 11 out of 27 developing country IOC member states (40%)<\/p>\n\n\n\n

IOC CD focal points have been designated by IOC Member States in response to IOC Circular Letter 2738<\/a> (2018) and IOC Circular Letter 2793<\/a> (January 2020). It stated: “In order to enable us to communicate effectively on the results of the survey, to assist with the implementation plan and its future implementation in Member States, it is recommended that you designate an \u201cIOC CD focal point\u201d. The list of designated IOC CD focal points is available from THIS LINK<\/a>. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The data presented is based on the weighted average. All the responses were included to reflect a more general picture of the respondent\u2019s perspectives, including items that were ranked low. To get a weighted average the number that gave the highest rank (e.g. essential) was multiplied times 5 and added to the number that gave a second highest (e.g. very important) multiplied times 4, and so on. Due to the relatively small sample sizes care must therefore be taken when interpreting the results and making assumptions based on the data presented. <\/p>\n\n\n\n
